Phoenix Suns, a professional basketball of America is located in Phoenix, Arizona. The team is part of the Pacific Division of Western Conference of the National Basketball Association. They are the only NBA team in the Pacific Division which is not located in California. Lately, the team played their home court games at downtown Phoenix in America West Arena. Since the year 1992, the former name of the arena became US Airways Center. The arena of the team is frequently called the “Purple Palace” because of the purple color of the seats. Robert Sarver currently owns the team. The general manager of the team is Lance Banks and Alvin Gentry is the team’s head coach. The team won six titles in their division in the years 1981, 1993, 1995 and 2005 to 2007. The team was formed in the year 1968 as an expansion team in the NBA.
