The Toronto Raptors were once called the Huskies and play in the NBA in Canada. In year 2001, when the Grizzlies moved to Tennessee, the Raptors become the only team playing in their home court “Air Canada Centre”. The Raptors chosen name and logo were affected by the movie Jurassic park. In May 24, 1994, the first General Manager Isiah Thomas was unveiled at a press conference. The team’s color is purple, black, bright red and silver.
